Ingredients

  • 1 pkg of regular Oreos
  • 6 tablespoons butter melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup confectioners/powdered sugar
  • 16 oz cool whips divided
  • 1 5.9-ounce pkg chocolate instant pudding
  • 2 3/4 cup milk cold

Instructions

  • Crush the whole package of cookies either with a food processor, or place them in a large ziplock bag and crush them with a rolling pin. Save about 1 cup to sprinkle on top of dessert lasagna when it's done.
  • In a small bowl mix remaining crumbs with melted butter. When the butter is distributed, transfer the mixture to a 9 x 13 inch baking dish, and press the crumbs into the bottom of the pan.
  • Using electric mixer, mix half of Cool Whip, softened cream cheese, and confectioners sugar in a large bowl.
  • Spread the mixture on top of the oreo crust. Transfer to the refrigerator while you are making a pudding.
  • In a bowl, combine chocolate instant pudding with cold milk. Whisk for several minutes until the pudding starts to thicken. Spread the pudding over the previous layer, and let it sit for 10 minutes to firm up the pudding.
  • Spread the remaining half of cool whip over the pudding, and sprinkle with reserved Oreo crumbs on top.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Enjoy!
  • *To cut clean, even pieces, place the pan in the freezer for 30 minutes before serving.

  1. Hello! Seems delicious.
One question, which oreo package did you use? How much does it weigh? Because I’m afraid there are different sizes across countries.

    Thanks!

    1. You use regular Oreo cookies not double stuffed I make this a lot but you put chocolate chips on top instead of the Oreos

  2. I made this last week – used the 14.3 ounce package of Oreo’s – after taking out one cup for the topping I had plenty for the bottom layer. We had guests at our lake house – everyone loved this dessert!! I did put it in the freezer 30 minutes before serving and every piece came out perfectly.

  3. Try this with a regular graham cracker crust (1 regular box graham crackers crushed, reserve some to sprinkle on top. Mix remaining with melted butter press into bottom of pan) and replace chocolate pudding with lemon pudding. Keep the rest of recipe the same ( cream cheese mixture is same). Layerings the same! This is amazing in the summer, refreshing and tasty.

  4. Question, as I’m not a baker/cooker/prepper. When you say “Spread the remaining half of cool whip over the pudding”, is that also mixed with cream cheese and conf suger? or is that layer just whipped cream?
