Man Bars are great and I recommend that you add them to your Christmas collection…or on your TO-DO list right now !
These bars are the easiest things to make EVER. One bowl – mix, bake and toss in icing sugar.
In the last few years, when we have family gatherings, small cakes and quick-easy desserts have become part of my job. Over time I made a delicious, high-quality collection that gets richer each time for a brand new taste. And when they try them, the guests ask whether the cakes were bought or where they were bought. I still find it a strange syndrome that as soon as something is delicious it must be bought in a shop.
I first saw it over at Danielle my creative friend from blog Hugs & cookies xoxo, check out her beautiful blog, that will keep you entertained for hours. I thought they were called Man Bars because men love them so much (which they should), apparently it is an old recipe from Gooseberry Patch cookbook – yet another super popular recipe that can be found on many, many delicious dessert blogs, so I finally decided to give them a try. This time I had the help of my darling, who offered to help me with quick preparation of this bars.
Can you imagine a man in the kitchen? Can you imagine that they are really good at everything they make there? I don’t….
But this bars are so easy even a man can “help” make them. LOL.
Sorry, I’m just kidding.
As for the Man Bars, totally delish…..hopefully, I managed to take a couple of shots to show you.
