This Easy Strawberry Cobbler is one of my FAVORITE Spring/Summer desserts. It’s made with fresh strawberries and a few basic pantry ingredients.
There is something magical about the sweet, syrupy strawberry juices, and the smell of that golden buttery crust fresh out of the oven!
4 steps to Easy Strawberry Cobbler:
Melt butter: in a 9×13 (preferably glass) baking dish. Do this by placing it in the oven while it preheats.
Make the batter: In a large bowl mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk and melted butter, just until combined. Pour into dish.
Make the Strawberry Filling: In a medium bowl, add strawberries and sugar, tossing until syrupy. Set aside. Spoon in strawberries or berries of choice in random spots, and it’s ready to bake!
Bake: at 350 degrees for about 35-40 minutes. Serve warm, with a scoop of ice cream, if desired.
